Band History

The initial idea for Legacy of Atlas came from Fabien Hornick in December 2015.
After 3 years of experience with his first band Soulhenge, he began looking for members to start a new musical project that combines heavy riffs with a lot of grooves and influences from rap and punk. During their first year of activity Legacy of Atlas worked on finding and refining their style and prepared to establish themselves in the Luxembourgish music scene.
Since then, the five-piece modern metal band from the north of Luxembourg has gathered experience on local stages such as the Nordic Rock Festival in 2017 and 2018, On Stéitsch Festival 2017, Metalfest Kopstal in 2018. During this time they shared stages with bands such as Napoleon (UK), Death Remains (UK), No Omega (Sweden) and Endzweck (Japan). Legacy of Atlas was chosen as the winner of the 2018 edition of Rock the South. This was rewarded with a Musical Project Follow-up in co-operation with Rockhal’s Rocklab.
2019 saw the release of the band´s first single Resonate. The band set out to record and release all of the songs they collected since their formation over a period from 2019 to 2020, culminating in the release of an EP.
